2 years of digital schemes

What's changed? The impact of technology, fraud trends and what's to come

2 Years of Digital Schemes

In 2022 the UK government launched a range of Digital Schemes to further facilitate Right to Work and DBS checks. The Digital Schemes allow employers to remotely confirm right to work and complete DBS checks by verifying the identity of people with suitable documents using an Identity Service Provider (IDSP).

At TrustID, we monitor and record the number and type of fake identity documents and imposters we detect across different industries. In this whitepaper, we take a look back at the past two years of analysis - since the introduction of the Digital Schemes.

We share:

  • Insights from our expert document analyst team
  • The rise of digital
  • Trends in fraudulent identity documents
  • The risks of getting checks wrong
  • What's to come in the world of Digital
